Connor Martin is a 2022 3B/RHP/SS with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Cottontown, TN who attends Christian Community Schools. Young slender body with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance, drops into his swing with lots of pre-swing movement, long and loose swing with an aggressive approach, flashed some carry when he was squared up, can improve his balance and consistency. 7.25 runner, moves well on defense in the infield, fields the ball cleanly and makes accurate throws with good accuracy, seems athletic enough to play the middle infield in addition to third base. Took a turn on the mound, has a high 3/4's arm slot with a long and loose arm action, good tempo to his delivery, stays on line well with good extension out front. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, attacked hitters with his fastball and threw strikes. Still developing feel and consistency for his breaking pitches. Good student.
