Jacob Smith is a 2024 3B/RHP/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Stanley, NC who attends Lincoln Charter HS. Recorded a 7.21 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with good strength throughout and room for more. Primary third baseman with deliberate actions and keeps body under control nicely. Good first step with a longer arm action and comes in on the ball well. Arm strength also plays from secondary position of the outfield. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a turn step into a leg lift at the belt. Longer arm action with an over the time slot and throws with effort. Flashed a straight changeup and showed a softer curveball. Up tempo and works fast on the mound. Righthanded hitter with a balanced start and an open stance. Aggressive swinger who showed some pull power. Jump off the barrel with a linear swing plane.
