Cameron Withrow is a 2019 OF/RHP/MIF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Anchorage, AK who attends Grace Christian HS. Medium frame with wiry strength. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary outfielder with aggressive footwork while closing to the baseball. Funnels off to side and maintains momentum towards the bag while working through exchange. Released from a three-quarters arm slot generated accurate carry to the bag at 76 miles per hour. Also worked out defensively from the infield showing aggressive, active footwork while ranging for and surrounding the baseball. Flashed solid range to each side. Funnels out front and worked through exchange quickly. Displayed developing accuracy while throwing across the infield at 75 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an open stance. Moves into contact with linear lower half actions. Displayed present bat speed and strength while employing a naturally lifted barrel plane. When balanced, generated loud contact to the gaps with tight backspin off the barrel. Good student as well.
