Ben Ross is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Oviedo, FL who attends Oviedo HS. Recorded a 6.84 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with a very lean build and room to add strength. Primary outfielder with longer strides and direct to the ball. Bends at the waist and off to the side with good one hop accuracy. Deliberate actions with arm strength recorded up to 80 mph into the infield. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a quick arm and a low three-quarters arm slot. Throws across his body and cuts the fastball. Showed a slurvy curveball with sweeping shape. Right-handed hitter with a narrow and slightly closed off start. Deeper hand load with a small stride and a flat barrel path. Longer out in front and can work the ball nicely for all fields contact. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
