Hayes Stephens is a 2027 SS/RHP, 3B with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Mount Bethel Christian. Medium, lean build with a lot of time to continue gaining strength. Ran a 7.51 sixty yard dash. Primary shortstop, young actions with step by step movements, works under ground balls, glove works out front, mid body exchange, full arm swing to a high release and solid arm strength across, recorded throws up to 73 mph. Fundamental round. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works with good balance and tempo to the delivery, loose and quick arm, full arm swing to a three-quarters slot. Controls the body down the mound, fastball comes out well, ran it up to 75 mph. Mixed in a curveball in the lower-60s. Right-handed hitter, slightly open stance with the hands set by his chest, creates separation in the load, works to get the barrel inside the baseball and impact to the opposite field. Short and compact swing with young bat speed and upper half dominant.
