Aaron Orozco is a 2025 C/1B/3B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from West Palm Beach, FL who attends St Andrews. Orozco certainly looks the part of a primary C with strength evident in the lower half of the build. From his spot behind the dish he flashed arm speed with a quick consistent in line transfer down to 2B, ultimately posting a 2.01 pop time. The arm works pretty effortlessly here with further room to tack on velo as the footwork gains additional ground. The arm translated on the mound where Orozco touched 86 mph starting from the 1B side of the rubber releasing from a clean 3/4 slot. The FB displayed heavy life as he consistently overpowered hitters in the zone. Offensively, the righty started from an even base with a high hand set and small hover trigger to stay through the middle of the field and create impact with backspin. He flashed strength in the hands and has room to further extend and add to the power potential. Posted a 90 mph exit velo. Ran a 7.58 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
