Jacob Gray is a 2028 SS/2B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Benicia, CA who attends De La Salle. Medium frame with an athletic and slightly physical build. Ran a 7.68 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, easy mover on the dirt with good feel laterally, balanced and comfortable at the ball with sound hands, transitions well into throws and shows strength across. Clean actions in the outfield too, stays behind the ball well and works it through it clean, good arm strength and very accurate to bags. Right-handed hitter, slightly spread setup with good balance in the legs, easy bat speed and gets it out front well, has good impact strength already and projects to a good bit more, impresses in game action offensively. Selected to the 2023 13U PG Select Festival.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
