Colin Carlson is a 2023 2B/3B, SS with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Broomfield, CO who attends Broomfield. Medium, average build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.85 seconds. Primary 2B who went after grounders aggressively but still under control. His best throw across the infield came in at 73 mph. At the plate he hits out of a square and balanced stance. Showed some natural loft to the bat path which allows the bat to stay in the zone for an extended period of time. On the mound he throws out of a high 3/4 arm slot. His FB sat 69-72 mph with some arm side run. The other pitch in the arsenal, the CB has deep 11/5 shape and he flashed the ability to throw it in the zone. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
