Jackson Brooks is a 2022 RHP/3B, MIF, OF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Tuxedo, NY who attends Don Bosco Preparatory. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.36 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, compact arm stroke through the back, finishes extended over front side, coils back over rubber, short strider with firm land that he throws around, fastball worked 74-76 mph with some plane to the plate, worked in curveball with good spin on 12/6 shape axis. Did a fair job of throwing strikes. Hits from spread stance with high back elbow, negative move in load with leg lift trigger, compact bat speed with good hands, torques well into swing, showed quality barrel skills, projects well for power as he gains strength. Worked out in the outfield, positions himself well and comes through the ball, fields cleanly and stays balanced, compact arm stroke clocked up to 77 mph on throws. Good student.
