Eric Marroquin is a 2022 C/ with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Humble, TX who attends Atascocita. Big and strong athletic build. Right handed hitter, hits from a closed stance with a still hand start, good lower half shift into contact, rotational swing, flashes some power when he gets extended out front, best contact to the middle of the field, has the strength to continue to develop as a hitter. 7.74 runner in the sixty. Has good arm strength behind the plate from a compact arm action, has some idea on his fundamental footwork, will continue to develop defensively with increased lower half flexibility and quickness.
