Yeniel Laboy is a 2022 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Arecibo, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Tall and strong frame with physicality throughout. Ran a 6.68 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, light on his feet with solid lateral movement with a good base and clean release. Hands work and he and can throw on the run. A left-handed hitter, starts slightly open with higher hands and uses an intent bases approach. Gets on plane and looks to extend and lift. Good carry to the pull side. Hard in game barrel and showed ability to hit velocity. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
