Hecxiel Perez is a 2022 C/1B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Sabana Grande, PR who attends Marjory Stoneman Douglas. Recorded a 7.44 second sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher sits behind the plate with a high, wide set and shows soft hands with a smooth, easy transfer while getting some ground to second base generating a pop time of 2.04 and throwing 77 mph to second base. Right-handed hitter steps the plate with an even base, high hands, and a high back elbow as he swings with a knee lift trigger. Perez displays good separation of the hands and shows good hand and bat speed while creating good backspin on the baseball. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
