Sims Setser is a 2020 SS/2B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Crozet, VA who attends Western Albemarle HS. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.35 runner, second base tools and actions, stays balanced well behind the ball and makes the routine play, developing arm strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a late short hand takeaway, has some hand quickness but needs to get his hands back sooner, middle of the field swing approach with some lift out front, stays short and direct to the ball when he's on time, should keep improving as he gets stronger. Excellent student.
