2021 Florida Prospect Showcase
Charlie Duffy is a 2022 3B/RHP, 1B with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Treasure Island, FL who attends St. Petersburg Catholic. On the mound he works exclusively from the stretch and boast an 85 mph fastball. He engages his lower half well as he works down the mound with a quick arm, the arm swing is short and compact and the ball comes out easy Slider has sharp bite to it as it comes out of the same tunnel as the fastball. In the field he is athletic with a quick first step and shows off that strong arm across the infield from a high slot. Looks good on the ball coming in. In the box he stands in with high hands and gets on plane early, wrist are strong and ball has some nice carry. Really was hitting the low ball well. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
