Dylan Day is a 2020 RHP/1B with a 6-5 165 lb. frame from Santa Rosa, CA who attends Santa Rosa HS. Tall, lean build with lots of room to fill out and add strength. Primary righthanded pitcher who only pitched during the event. Compact delivery and remains tall and balanced during the gather. Lands slightly closed with some cross fire. Quick, clean arm circle and released from a higher three-quarters arm slot. Fastball had good downhill action and topped out at 81mph. Curveball had some sweeping action with 10/5 action. Good feel for the fastball and consistently worked to the outer edge of the plate. Will show ability to pitch backwards. Flashed a changeup as well. Good student.
