Zahir Barjam is a 2025 SS/2B/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Christopher Columbus. Medium frame with a strong athletic build. Primary shortstop, very clean and quick movements with twitch and good balance around the dirt, feet work very well to the spot, very good glove with quickness and ability to adjust on the move, adjusted slot well to both sides and showed enough arm strength in the mid-80s to do so, confident and clean round in the infield. Right-handed hitter, even base and moves weight in well, pretty explosive hands in a compact stroke, able to stay direct and use both strength and quickness to create quick launch, works the barrel out consistently and can handle velocity well, really quick launch and no problem getting the baseball in the air and using strength to carry it well middle and pull side. Named to Class of 2025 All American Games Top Prospect List.
