Matt Benner is a 2021 OF/C, MIF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Souderton, PA who attends Souderton Area. Recorded a 4.88 second 40-yd dash time. Primary outfielder with quick feet, good body control and smooth actions. Anticipates well with quick, controlled steps into load and through release. Projects with present arm strength, recorded throws up to 81 mph in outfield drills. Secondary infielder with smooth actions, quick footwork and range to both sides. Clean funnel and accurate throws across the diamond, recorded throws up to 74 mph in drills. Right-handed hitter with slightly open stance, high back elbow and uphill swing plane. Showed impact ability to the pull-side with consistent bat-to-ball skills. Present athleticism with fundamentally sound overall skill set. Good Student.
