Nicholas Amicucci is a 2007 IF/OF with a 5'11'', 180 lb. frame from Pleasantville NY, who attends Pleasantville. Amicucci has a nice frame with a good athletic build. Defensively, Amicucci moves around well in the outfield and he throws with a shorter arm action. He has developing arm strength and a low release. Behind the plate, he sets up well and has nice actions. At the plate, Amicucci starts with a medium width stance and takes a high hard stride. He has a quiet approach in the box and uses a short load to start his swing. He hits uphill and has a shorter finish. Amicucci uses his hands well in his swing and has hand quickness. He has bat speed and hits with a good short stroke. Amicucci has present gap to gap power and will hit for more power as he learns to swing with leverage. Amicucci is a good student.
