Reed Farrell is a 2022 C/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Glen Mills, PA who attends Garnet Valley. Recorded a 7.37 second sixty-yard dash time. Larger build with well-proportioned strength through his 6-foot frame and present athleticism. Primary catcher with soft receiving hands, quick footwork that gains ground towards his target and good mid-line transfers. Delivered online and accurate throws recorded up to 72 miles per hour with game like actions during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, slightly open stance with low hands and a small hover trigger for timing. Lofted stroke with rotational lower half mechanics and strength through contact. Middle-of-the field approach with consistent bat-to-ball skills and the ability to get the barrel out in front on the inner half while flashing some power to the pull-side. Still some projection remaining with very fundamentally sound catch-and-throw skill set and upside at the plate. Excellent Student.
