Javier Cabrera is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-8 173 lb. frame from Cape Coral, FL who attends Island Coast. Medium frame with a stocky type build. Ran a 7.29 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, quick first step as he proved to have lateral range. Clean glove work as he scoops it up out front before working into transfer. Slows momentum down before releasing uphill. Accurate around the bag as he threw it 65 mph during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, even base with a slightly open front side to start. Knee lift to stride as he lands square. Rhythm in the box as the hands work well with the lower half. Controls the barrel well as he stays linear through the zone. Proved he could drive it to all fields both during batting practice & in games. Great Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
