Kyle Wimmer is a 2021 1B/RHP, 3B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Rock Hill, SC who attends Rock Hill High School. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; body projects well. Hits from slightly open stance with toe tap trigger, inside-out path with hands through the zone, whole-field approach on line drive swing plane, hands stay locked inside ball throughout swing, showed good contact skills out front, worked pull-side well in game. Worked out at first base, showed solid footwork around the bag, fields cleanly and makes the turn well, clocked up to 63 mph on throws. Also pitched, good direction to the plate, lengthy arm stroke through the back, fastball worked 66-70 mph, worked in curveball with depth as well. Very good student.
