Logan Whitling is a 2020 C/RHP/3B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Holliday, TX who attends Holliday. Big and strong athletic build. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a short and simple line drive swing, strength really comes through in his swing and how the ball comes off the barrel, has some lift out front with a middle of the field approach. 7.63 runner, plays both catcher and third base with good fundamentals, has good footwork at both positions and lots of raw arm strength, can continue to work on improving his lower half quickness and agility. Also pitched, gets out over his front side well with a whippy arm action and high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, has some depth to a sweeping curveball. Strength based athlete whose bat plays up. Named to the South Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
