Sebastian Mejorado is a 2021 3B/RHP, SS with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Oceanside, CA who attends El Camino. Long and lean frame with an athletic build. Ran a 7.58 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary third baseman. Works through the ball well with smooth actions into transitions. Longer take back into release but will create occasional carry at 81 MPH. Also worked out as an outfielder. Long strides into the ball with a more deliberate close. Long arm action in the back into a three-quarter slot topping out at 79 MPH and staying accuraet to the bag. Righthanded hitter with a slightly crouched and even stance. Simple leg lift trigger for timing. Clean hand path through a line drive barrel plane. Middle of the field approach with a quick barrel. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a small side step into high leg lift. Loose arm action in the back into a mid three-quarters slot. Straight fastball sitting in the low 70's and topping out at 75 MPH. Best pitch was a sharp breaking ball landing for strikes on a 10-to-4 shape.
