Steven “Tito” Gabaldon is a 2019 SS/RHP/C with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Aledo, TX who attends Trinity Christian Academy. Medium frame with slender, athletic build. Good projection remaining. Hits from wrapped start with hands/barrel, shows some bat speed through the zone on line drive swing plane, shifts well into contact, shows whole field approach with ability to barrel up liners. Worked out in the infield, shows solid fundamental footwork through the ball, fields cleanly and gets rid of the ball, clocked up to 78 mph on throws. Also pitched, lower three quarters slot release, lands crossbody, fastball worked 75-77 mph with slight sink, showed curveball with 11/5 shape and some depth. Good student.
