Markell Myers is a 2020 2B/SS with a 6-0 132 lb. frame from Snellville, GA who attends South Gwinnett HS. Recorded a 6.88 second 60-yard dash time. Young, lean frame with a wiry build, long limbs and room to fill. Primary second baseman with quick and long strides to the ball. Longer arm stroke and gathers nicely through release. Arm strength currently developing and recorded up to 66 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter with a wide base, present balance, and inside hand path to contact. Gets the barrel through the zone with a patient approach and best contact came to the middle of the field. Groundball and line drive approach and power will improve with additional strength to the frame. Good student.
