Aiden Smith is a 2025 3B/RHP, 2B, SS, MIF, IF, OF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Woolwich, NJ who attends Kingsway Reg. Young, athletic build with tons of physical projection remaining to be added as fills out his frame. 7.44-second runner during the sixty. Primary infielder, fields out in front with a clean funnel, displaying solid glove actions. Accurate throws across the diamond, working up to 79 mph. Played through the ball well with deliberate footwork, while continuing to develop foot speed. Secondary right-handed pitcher, worked with a quick pace and an athletic operation. Loose and easy arm action, creating some arm side run of his heater. Fastball sat in the 70-74 mph range, working it around the zone, generating some weak contact as he paired it with a fading change-up and a developing breaking ball that showed loose spin to it. Change-up showed some depth while getting whiffs on it as it looked to be the better secondary offering. Tons of velocity left in the tank as he adds strength. Also took reps in the outfield, fielded off to the side with methodical footwork. Bit hesitant working through the ball but did carry his momentum through his throws, worked up to 81 mph. Right-handed hitter, sets up with an open and balanced stance with a high-hand set. Utilized an elevated stroke, generating some whip to the barrel. Rotational lower half with a tendency to get stuck on his backside. Developing feel for the barrel, flashing some line-drive impact when on time getting his foot down. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
