Konnor Palmeira is a 2020 C/1B/3B with a 6-0 220 lb. frame from Kahului, HI who attends Kamehameha Schools Maui Campus. Large frame with broad shoulders and present strength. Primary catcher with a balanced stance while receiving t he baseball. Gains grounds towards the bag with very quick, clean footwork. Worked through exchange well and released from a compact three-quarters slot. Throws flashed stiff carry to the bag topping at 79 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 1.89. Right handed hitter with a spread stance and high back elbow set. Swung with intent and displayed good raw power at contact. Employed a naturally leveraged swing while aggressively throwing the barrel to contact. Produced loud, hard contact to the gaps when on time and squared. Very good student as well.
