Cal Leonard is a 2022 3B/RHP/IF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends Bishop Kenny. Long and lean athletic build, lots of physical projection remaining. 7.44 runner in the sixty. Shows some athleticism in the infield at third base on defense, hands are good at the ball and fields it cleanly, long and loose arm action with some projection, can quicken his lower half actions and release, showed lateral mobility. Left handed hitter, hits from a leg lift trigger with a wrapped barrel start, has some quickness to his hands and creates some barrel whip, gets to his front side well with his lower half, projectable young hitting tools and will keep improving as he gains strength and learns to repeat his mechanics more consistently. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
