Cy Robertson is a 2022 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Highland, CA who attends Citrus Valley HS. Cy is an athletic and quick player who shows physical strength and outstanding agility on the field. In addition to his projectable ability on the diamond, Cy is also an exemplary student. He ran an impressive 6.97 60 yard dash. A primary middle infielder, Cy is noticeably strong, quick, and athletic. All his actions on the dirt are highly commendable. He plays with a natural rhythm. His timing is excellent. He gets to the ball quickly, but always under control. His hands are smooth and his glove plays at a high level. He transitions easily to a solid 76 mph throwing arm that is highly accurate. He is a player. Period. At the plate, Cy has a very simple approach. With limited head movement, he is short, quiet and quick to the ball. He has more of a line drive operation with a bit of lift at contact. He can strike the baseball. He drives it with authority to all parts of the field. He even flashed a little raw power. Cy, is, without question, a solid prospect and has all the tools to impact when he gets there. His next two HS years are big for his continued development, but his current ability says he will have a chance to excel.
