Gavin Woodard is a 2021 RHP/1B/3B with a 5-10 200 lb. frame from Belleville, MI who attends Divine Child. Medium frame with strong build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.78 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, long and flat take back of arm, gets off backside pretty well in drive, releases from near-ear, has deception, fastball worked 77-81 mph. Showed changeup with good tumble, also broke out curveball with good depth and shape. Did a fair job of throwing strikes. Hits from slightly open stance with leg lift trigger, line drive swing plane, showed good consistent barrel skills, middle-field approach. Worked out in the infield, sits back on ball, gets in good fielding position, clocked up to 83 mph across the diamond. Good student.
