Chett Zeise is a 2008 MIF/P/3B with a 5'11'', 184 lb. frame from Sobieski, WI, who attends Notre Dame Academy. Named to the Top Prospect Team at the event. Zeise has a good frame with athleticism and projectability. Defensively he has a quick first step showing great reaction to the ball off the bat. Zeise has foot quickness that allows him to cover a great deal of ground. Once he gets to the ball, he has good hands and present arm strength with a quick release. He is advanced defensively. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from slightly crouched stance with a balanced approach. He has a short and compact bat path with quick hands. Zeise has good bat speed through the hitting zone and consistently hits line drives. He is an aggressive hitter that stays within himself. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with good arm strength. He gets life on his fastball that topped out at 85 mph, and he also mixes in a 68 mph curveball. He locates his pitches. Zeise is a two-way prospect.
