Macai Moore is a 2024 1B/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-0 220 lb. frame from Piscataway, NJ who attends St. Peter's Prep. Moore possesses tons of evident strength in the build that revealed itself on multiple levels throughout the event. Starting at 1B, he displayed clear carry across the diamond up to 84 mph with natural movements and sound footwork. He produced accurate throws on the bag from both sides of the IF. On the mound, the arm strength continued to reveal itself with a FB up to 85 mph releasing from a 3/4 slot. Moore generated consistent weak contact, sequencing a 12-6 breaker that had vertical depth to it as well as a changeup with fade in the arsenal. Offensively, the righty started from an even balanced stance with a compact hand set that fired through the zone to produce loud contact to the pull side. He flashed hand speed with further room for barrel control which will do scary things for the power potential. Posted an exit velo of 86 mph. Ran a 7.60 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
