Kaysen Kajiwara is a 2019 2B with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Mililani, HI who attends Damien Memorial HS. Compact frame with a lean build. Frame projects to support additional size and strength. Primary second baseman with smooth paced footwork while ranging for and working to the baseball. Clean glove actions at pick up and worked through exchange with fluidity. Displayed the ability to throw with accuracy while on the run creating softer carry to the bag, topped at 70 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, open stance and medium leg lift trigger. Worked to contact with rotational lower half actions. Stays behind contact well and employed and simple, repeatable line drive barrel plane. Flashed good feel for the barrel with the ability to work to all fields. Tools will continue to develop with maturity and repetition. Very good student as well.
