Daniel Rodriguez is a 2023 C/OF with a 5-6 135 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends SLAM. Recorded a 7.80 second 60-yard dash time. Younger frame and build with room to add strength and fill out. Primary catcher with two-pieced mechanics and starts out with a higher set. Clean actions to the throwing hand with currently developing arm strength. Righthanded hitter with a balanced base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Flat barrel path with some quality hand speed. Spread start and swings hard. Can work line drives to both side of the field with intent. Great student.
