Connor Lindsey is a 2022 C/3B, IF with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from O'Fallon, IL who attends O'Fallon. Recorded a 7.25 second sixty yard dash time. Large frame and thick build with obvious strength present. Primary catcher with a low and even set up, has a very flexible lower half with fluidity to the actions. Is explosive out of the chute and stays low throughout, has big arm strength and great carry out of the hand, recorded a 1.84 second pop time at 78 mph. Quick transfer with accurate throws, looked good defensively in games and showed the ability to throw runners out from his knees. Right-handed hitter with an open stance and a high hand and back elbow set. Utilizes a small leg lift trigger, showed a straight uphill path, tended to pull of and be underneath the ball in this look. Has definite strength in the swing with present bat speed, found his grove as the round went on and drove some balls into both gaps. Has the tools and physicality to really improve, projects for big power potential down the road. Excellent student, very high academic achiever. Named to the 2021 Midwest Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
