Josiah Ragsdale is a 2022 OF/1B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Vineland, NJ who attends St. Augustine Preparatory. Recorded a 4.99 second forty-yard dash. The primary outfielder has a tall and very athletic frame with good twitch and a quick first step on the ball producing a good line to the bases as he fields the ball out front with a smooth transfer and quick release recorded at 78 mph. The left handed hitter steps to the box with a narrow and slightly closed off stance, low hand set, and a high back elbow. Ragsdale’s stride is a bit open as he pulls his hands in well with good barrel control generating good bat speed with a pull approach. Great student.
