Aaron Herbst is a 2021 MIF/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Mooresville, NC who attends Lake Norman. Medium frame with slender, athletic build. Hits from even-based stance, postures well through swing, generates leverage off of firm front side at contact, smoothness to hands and overall swing, gets the barrel out and incorporates lower half well, quick hands through swing, good contact skills with ability to work the gaps, projects for more power as he gains strength. Primary infielder, hands work well out front, hands stand out overall, shows athleticism to footwork, made accurate throws with quick release. Also took outfield reps, waits back on ball and fields deep, gets momentum moving towards the infield, clean arm stroke on throws. Excellent student.
