Aidan Pantoya is a 2020 RHP/1B with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Lubbock, TX who attends Lubbock-Cooper. Long and lanky build, long limbs, very projectable physically. Big rocker step to start his delivery, very long off line arm action in back, arm is loose and fast coming through, 3/4's arm slot, has energy and deception to his delivery but stays in sync well and is around the strike zone. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, more velocity there, gets outstanding running life at times along with good sink. Change up is major weapon to left handed hitters, has similar plus life to it. Flashed quality spin and bite to his curveball. Flashes in every area but not consistent yet but plenty there to build with and dream on. 7.29 runner, showed his arm strength well from the outfield. Right handed hitter, stays on his back side with a lofted swing, puts the ball in the air. Excellent student.
