Carson Chandler is a 2022 RHP/IF with a 6-3 160 lb. frame from New Albany, IN who attends New Albany. Recorded a 7.40 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher moves from a full windup with a short side step into a belt high leg lift while remaining well-balanced over the backside as he rides it down the mound with a good lateral movement to the plate. Chandler keeps the fastball down in the zone topping 83 mph while showcasing good downhill action and displaying smooth arm action on the off-speed pitches. His changeup has good, late fading action and also mixes in an 11-5 breaking ball that’s down in the zone. Left-handed hitter steps to the plate with a wide base, high hands, and shows a knee to knee lift trigger with good hand load. Chandler displays quick hands with a short, compact swing that has great barrel control as he works the ball gap-to-gap. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
