Chris Martin is a 2021 C/ with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Lewisburg, TN who attends Community. Showed a bigger, larger frame with an already filling out build with some mature weight already showing. Ran a 7.71 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher working from a low base. Gains little ground on throw downs with throws being on the bag. Makes sure mechanics are correct before working into throw. Righthanded hitter starting with a narrow stance with a closed off front foot. Arm bar type lead arm with a good weight transfer showing he can create some leverage. Gets extended with an uphill swing path showing he can hit for power to the pull side. Good feel for the barrel here showing he can square it up consistently creating loud contact often. Outstanding Student.
