Kamahao Acpal is a 2019 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Wailuku, HI who attends Lahainaluna HS. Medium frame with slender, young build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.52 seconds. Primary lefthanded pitcher, smooth and low-effort delivery, lengthy arm stroke through the back up to high three quarters slot, stays inline to the plate, fastball worked 71-74 mph with some arm side run, showed curveball with deep 12/6 shape, did a good job throwing strikes with both offerings. Hits from even-based stance with leg lift trigger, rotational swing with middle-field approach, line drive plane. Stays low to the ball in the infield and fields cleanly, clean exchanges, clocked up to 73 mph. Also took outfield reps and was clocked up to 76 mph on throws. Good student.
