Dominic Smeal is a 2025 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-3 155 lb. frame from Fayetteville, GA who attends Trinity Christian. Lean and lanky young pitcher's build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. Works from the stretch with a belt high leg lift and good balance over the rubber, high 3/4's arm slot. Relied entirely on his fastball for three quick and efficient innings, worked up to 72 mph with very consistent run and sink, also got some cutting action at times when working glove side, worked to both sides of the plate with intent and challenged hitters, generated lots of ground ball contact. Will need to add a breaking ball in the future along with adding more strength. Played corner infield when not on the mound, same high arm slot, has deliberate step by step actions fielding and throwing and can make the routine play. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow upright stance, has a line drive swing and does a good job of staying short and inside the ball for his size and age. 7.81 runner in the sixty. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
