Kade Schneider is a 2023 OF/1B with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from South Barrington, IL who attends Barrington. He has a large frame with a presently strong build. Ran the sixty yard dash in 6.98 seconds. Primary outfielder that approaches the ball with confidence and fields it off his front foot. He has an aggressive approach and that allows him to work through his throws well. He has a long arm action with a high effort release that allows him to create carry on his throws to the target. Switch hitter that starts in an even stance that is slightly open from both sides. He does a nice job of shifting his weight back and clearing his hips, especially from the left side. He has a flat path through the zone and showed the ability to hammer line drives into the gaps. He has a strong swing with tons of hand speed that leads to power from both sides of the plate. Named to the 2022 Chicago Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List. Very good student.
