Ethan Malafa is a 2022 RHP/ with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from Cincinnati, OH who attends Mariemont. Primary right handed pitcher. Stretch only delivery. Employs a belt high leg lift staying slightly flexed at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound landing online with the plate and staying online with the plate through finish. Showed a long loose arm action going to a mid three-quarter slot at release with some arm speed. Showed a fastball with developing control of the zone and some late life up to 79 mph complemented with a 10/4 curveball with good depth creating occasional swing and miss when in the zone and a fading change up at 69 mph thrown late in counts for outs. Excellent student.
