Blake Ilitch is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Detroit, MI who attends Brother Rice. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, room to fill throughout moving forward and projects nicely. Right-handed pitcher, leg lift up past belt with quick actions, remains compact through the backside with arm stroke and shows plenty of arm speed to come through on time. Fastball topped out at 93 mph, and maintained velocity well over both innings of work. Consistent life on the fastball with hard run to the arm side. Showed two variations of curveball, one bigger with more depth and a downer upwards of 77 mph with late biting action. Showed a slider up to 84 mph with tight spin and shorter depth as well as a changeup at 81 mph, tends to slow arm at release. Complete arsenal and knows how to pitch/sequence within in the zone. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Duke.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
