Sam Murgo is a 2027 C/2B with a 5-2 130 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends IMG Academy. Recorded a 9.30 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a young frame. Starts from a staggered stance behind the plate and showed some agility. Used a short, compact arm action. Secondary infielder and took good angles to balls. Showed good fundamentals and made all of the plays with clean glovework and accurate throws. Right-handed hitter and starts from an even base. Utilizes a small leg lift and gets extended, meeting the ball out front. Swing is short and served line drives to all fields.
