Garrett Mnich is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 6-0 161 lb. frame from Fontana, CA who attends Etiwanda. Tall, athletic build with room to add. Flashed some intriguing traits in the outfield. Solid arm strength with occasional carry through the bag. Utilizes quick arm action. Flashed decent glove actions. Maintaining body control longer throughout throws would help accuracy. Narrow stance with hands placed high at the head in the box. Uses linear bat path with quality extension after contact. Uses the entire field well. Adding strength would allow for more frequent hard hit contact. Solid arm on the mound. Utilizes tall and fall mechanics. Slow, methodical delivery up to foot strike. ¾ arm slot with flashes of above-average arm speed. The fastball sat 78-81 mph with armside run. Gets on hitters quickly due to arm speed. Worked well to the arm side with ability to get a fair share of whiffs. Paired with a slider at 69-72 mph with sharp downward break when thrown well. Got hitters to chase fairly often with swing and miss ability. Very good student, as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
