Evan Soland is a 2023 OF/RHP/3B with a 5-11 158 lb. frame from Satellite Beach, FL who attends Satellite Senior. Medium, high waisted frame with square shoulders and room to add strength. Recorded a 7.25 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder Fundamentally sound footwork into and throughout the fielding process. Fields off his front foot, gathers cleanly and maintains momentum into release. Produced online, accurate throws up to 76 mph during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with methodical pace. Incorporates belt high leg lift and medium stride length out to foot strike. Pounded the strike zone effectively, sequenced his three-pitch mix effectively and generated a ton of weak contact. Fastball worked in the low-to-mid 70s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 75 mph from a higher three-quarters arm slot. Flashed slower 11-5 breaking ball with gradual depth and some horizontal tilt to it, while completing his mix with a slightly faded changeup. Will continue to improve with additional velocity and refinement of his secondary offerings. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider, slightly open base with a tight hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Whole field approach with flatter swing path, some whip to his barrel and occasional impact when on-time. Will continue to improve with minor swing adjustments and additional physical strength. Good Studen.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
