Caden Deegan is a 2025 1B/RHP/3B/OF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Bethlehem, PA who attends Bethlehem Catholic. Deegan impressed at multiple defensive spots over the course of his day, starting from his primary 1B position where he showcased soft hands with a deep clean funnel and quicker turns, ultimately topping out at 83 mph across the diamond. He touched 85 mph from the OF flashing a full arm action with calculated mechanics and developing footwork. He also worked off the mound, displaying a medium in-line arm path releasing from a 3/4 slot again up to 83 mph. Velo should project into the mid/upper 80s with a tumbling CH and 10-4 shaped SL also present in the arsenal. Offensively, the righty started from a wider base with a compact hand set and high back elbow producing loud impact when on time. Deegan has plenty of strength in the hands and swings a heavy barrel, posting an exit velo of 87 mph. Ran a 7.40 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
