Caleb Riser is a 2025 C/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Madison, GA who attends Gatewood. Ran a 7.07 second sixty-yard dash time. A primary catcher with a medium frame and lean athletic build. Developing lateral agility from a side saddle setup behind the plate. Feel for the glove with balance with ability to work up to the ball in the zone with quiet actions. Arm is short with quick release from an over-top slot. Produced throws at 75-mph with a pop time at 1.91 seconds. Secondary outfielder with feel for the glove and developing lateral quickness and range to either side. Accuracy on throws from a short arm action and quick release. 81-mph on throws from the outfield with accuracy to bases. A left-handed hitter with an open stance and hands high near his ear in the box. Linear swing plane with evident bat speed. Occasional extension out front with feel for the barrel produces hard hit result to the pull side. Good student.
